Based on the lectures of Rav Yitzchak Berkovits, ''A Woman's Mitzvah'' provides a clear and beautifully written explanation of the principles, details and practical application of the laws of Taharat Hamishpacha (family purity). Halachic (Jewish legal) sources are given in the footnotes, and interesting background and historical information is included. In order to suit the needs of a wide spectrum of teachers and students of the subject, clear definitions between Halacha (law), Minchag (tradition) and Chumrah (stringencies) are given.
