Yitzchak Arama

Rabbi Yitzchak Arama was born in Spain in 1420. He was a leader of yeshivot and a pulpit rabbi in different places in Spain until the expulsion in 1492. He then moved to Naples. He was known as a philospher and poet. He wrote various books, but the Akeydat Yitzchak is his most famous work. 

He passed away in 1494.
