Pamela Nadell
Pamela S. Nadell is the department chair, history, of the department of history at the American University, in Washington D.C. She holds the Patrick Clendenen Chair in Women's and Gender History and is Chair of Department of History and the Director of the Jewish Studies Program. In 2007, Nadell won the highest faculty award of the American University, the Scholar/Teacher of the Year. She is a Jewish history and women's history specialist. She has received the American Jewish Historical Society's prestigious Lee Max Friedman Award for distinguished service. Pamela has written various books, holds a PhD, MA and BA, and is fluent in Hebrew. |
